Mike "Bam" Tyau been creating graffiti art since 1983 during the NYC B-boy era. In '86 Mike came to San Francisco to attend the Academy of Art to major in Graphic Design.  He also joined TWS (Together With Style) to paint with Crayone and other graffiti kings of the golden era.  After taking a break from running the streets, Mike has come back to the art in 2007 to show the world his true love for spray can art.  Mike was born and raised in Hawaii and his current work reflects his heritage. He aims to put the many cultural flavors in his murals. He claims "My art is like a Hawaiian mixed plate. It has all the flavors
and it's updated with a modern hip hop twist."
